FloruS Moscadello di Montalcino 2003
"Decadently rich on the palate with aromas and flavors of nectarine, pineapple, honey, and golden raisin that are harmonious through to the finish. Foie gras. Fully mature, serve now."
Santé - November, 2005
"Floral nose with a pleasant honey and spice note. Full body, with spicy, medium sweetness and a long finish. Thick and oily. Drink now."
Wine Spectator - October, 2005
"Honeyed, candied fruit filled the aroma and continued on the palate. This dessert wine had good acids and was sweet but not cloying."
Frank & Kate Sutherland - Ocean County Observer - August, 2005
"It has concentrated dark floral honey nose before flavors of floral honey, orange, pineapple, apricot and lemon which are fat but laced with good acidity. The finish is long and narrow with spice at the back and some astringency. It is quite sweet but well balanced and not cloying."

FloruS Moscadello di Montalcino 2002
"Light floral aromas lead to a thick, unctuous palate with well-balanced flavors expressing a touch of honeyed tropical fruit; balanced finish. Deserts with apricots, peaches, and nuts. Fully mature, serve now."
Santé - November, 2004
"Resembles a very good Sauternes, with apricot, lemon and light vanilla character. Full-bodied, with a sweet palate and a long finish. Drink now."
Wine Spectator - October, 2004
"Scents of honey and apricot fill this lively, simple dessert wine. It balances juiciness with a prickle of acidity on the tongue, ready for a bowl of fresh fruit."

FloruS Moscadello di Montalcino 2001
"Produced from the underrated Moscadello grape, FloruS is a serious late-harvest dessert wine from Italy, offering richness, warmth, depth of flavor, and exceptional complexity."
Robert Whitley - The Bergen Record (NJ) - March, 2004
"Pale brassy gold with slight reddish overtones in the highlights. The bouquet is full and powerful, with an abundance of dried apricot that has that slightly greenish tartness apricot can have, and underlying bitter honey that gains from slight mint. Quite a bit going on. On the palate it's full, and rich, with about the sweetness one would expect given the bitter notes in the nose—in other words, it's sweet, but not tremendously so, with a fair amount of greenish apricot fruit supported by some green apricot acidity (not citric), and it all flows into a long green apricot finish with some bitter green almond overtones that may be due to wood. It's particular; if you like this sort of sweet wine you will like it very much, and if you do not you will not. In short, it takes no quarter."

FloruS Moscadello di Montalcino 1998
"Light topaz in color, this dessert wine has an attractive nose of honey and dried apricots. Medium bodied, it's unctuous on the palate and delivers a mélange of dried-apricot, raisin, and honey flavors. These sweet flavors linger but are not at all cloying. The wine has a lasting finish with nuances of almond and honey. A dessert in a glass, or serve with a crème brulée."
TableWine.com - March, 2002
"This beautifully balanced, medium sweet dessert wine from Tuscany will work exceedingly well with fruit-based desserts and mild cheeses. The nose is floral and musky, followed on the palate by flavors of dried apricot, raisins, honey and spicy clove. Beautifully made."
Robert Whitley - W.O.W. Report - December, 2001
"Notably sweet and with enchanting citrus, apricot, white peach, toasted not and honey flavors and aromas, this wine can be either an aperitif or a dessert wine."
Ha'Aretz (Israel) - May, 2001
"This simple dessert wine has a beautiful scent of honeysuckle, then candied flavors of lemon and almond. Enjoy its sweetness with poached pears."

"Muscat orange. Very much a late harvest style with moderate residual sugar..." Excellent
