Casillero del Diablo Reserva Privada 2006
Dark, with a loamy undertow to the black currant, melted licorice and roasted coffee notes. Fleshy and pure through the finish. This has a solid grip. 89 Points
James Molesworth - Wine Spectator - November, 2008
Exuberant flavors of strawberries and blackberries meld with the wine's firm structure. The depth of the fruit demands full-flavored dishes. 90 Points.

Deep ruby. Cherry-vanilla, cassis and mint on the nose. Deep dark fruit flavors are complicated by succulent herbs and a slow-building licorice quality. Oak spices creep up on the finish but the fruit maintains the upper hand... Lush fruit. 87 Points.

... licorice, blackbery, mocha and resiny oak aromas... Vanilla and mocha flavors wrestling with the requisite blackfruit quotient. Creamy and rich late, with good flow to the finish. A very nice wine... 88 Points.

Casillero del Diablo Reserva Privada Vintage Not Specified
An assemblage of selected grapes from vineyards in Pirque and Feumo Concha y Toro's Casillero del Diablo Reserva Privada is a blend of 65 Cabernet Sauvignon and 35 Syrah. This wine is deep and luxurious, intense and brilliant ruby red. Blackcurrant, red cherry and plum notes from Cabernet Sauvignon combine with Syrah endowed ripe black fruit, blackberry and plum. Aged in French oak barrels for 14 months, this wine strikes the perfect balance between fruit and wood yet retains vibrant acidity and supple tannins.
Reserva Privada is the perfect match for finer recipes including grilled and roasted meats as well as for rich pasta dishes.
